Thank you FOAM magazine for including us on your calendar page in the new issue for our upcoming retreat to Matapalo, Costa Rica, March 13-20. We have space available, escape winter with us! Lauren Hanna and Tracy Mohr will lead twice-daily vinyasa yoga with a restorative session in the late afternoon. I’m a shopper, I admit it, I especially have a thing for footwear. I love my flip flops and if you’ve seen an earlier post I found the Japanese split-toe socks so that I can wear my flip flops into the fall post-surf. Now check these TubeFlops out by Sanuk. Wow. And only $30.

I finally saw Avatar, it is spectacular and there’s a very important message in relation to our planet. Nature is precious, we need to protect it. And it is very important to Liquid because everything we do is in the great outdoors. The forest is one of the most beautiful scenes I have seen in a film in a long time. Go out and see it.

Trudie Styler (Sting’s wife) was on Martha Stewart Living this past Friday, it’s awesome that MSL dedicated a whole show to yoga featuring Trudie’s Warrior sequence and three other types of yoga (Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyasa).

Men in Yoga, I’ve been slacking and haven’t featured anyone in a while. If you haven’t listened to MC Yogi yet, I highly recommend it. Yoga meets Hip Hop. MC Yogi teaches yoga at his studio Yoga Toes in Point Reyes Station, CA.
