JUNGLE YOGA
LIQUID YOGA + SURF ANNUAL RETREAT TO COSTA RICA, APRIL 6-12, 2009
ORCAS DE OSA IN THE OSA PENINSULA, COSTA RICA
with Tracy Mohr
ORCAS DE OSA is a spacious beachfront property that has been landscaped with much care to promote privacy and welcome wildlife, just steps away from Playa Sombrero as well as the mouth of Rio Sombrero. You’ll wake to sounds of monkeys and macaws, shower under jungle foliage and meander down shaded trails to incredible surf. We begin every morning with meditation, pranayama and vigorous asana. From there a breakfast feast awaits before heading off to surf, lounge in a hammock or explore the jungle trails. We meet for a yummy lunch midday and in the late afternoon we’ll return for a restorative practice of chanting, meditation and yoga nidra, a ritual experience. A final dinner feast will be served after sunset.
There are 8 JUNGLE YURTS spread out on the magnificent 20 acre property of Orcas de Osa designed for comfort in the tropics. The thatched roof will keep you dry and cool. Equipped with beautiful screened Moroccan style tents, each Yurt has two single beds. Relax on the private cozy porch. All bungalows have private open air showers with a shared nearby bathroom.

There is electricity in the Casa Grande (kitchen and dining area) and in the two Casas. The JUNGLE YURTS do not have electricity but are lit by romantic candlelight. The yoga deck has a solar powered stereo for CDs or ipods. There is no cell phone service but Orcas de Osa has skype and internet access.
