The architecture and textile designs of Morocco was daily eye candy. My favorite were the doors. Middle photo: the hand of fatima, or hamsa, protecting our Villa. The hand of fatima means: defense against the evil eye, seen in many wall hangings and jewelry in Morocco. I did some major haggling when I found the perfect one, it now sits on a leather strand around my neck. Hamsa prayer: Let no sadness come through this gate, Let no trouble come to these walls, Let no conflict be in this place, Let this home be filled with the blessing of joy and peace.
